I'm not a lawyer, but I think it's good to inform you that the MIT
license does not require attribution in generated binaries. You can
read the license text carefully and confirm that yourself.

It's not to be confused with the 3-clause BSD license.

Roberto only removed the copyright notice in the program output, while
keeping the copyright notice and the MIT license text *in the source*
intact. AFAIK, it's legal (even though it's a bad idea in ethics).
