[PATCH 1/2] wget: Use HEAD for --spider

Hi,

Last year I sent a set of patches for wget to send HTTP methods other 
that just GET and POST.
This will make the wget to be used instead of curl for basic REST API 
usage. Could you please take a look, that would be great.
