I see your point but there is a good reason for this choice.
I kept the patch for the test suite separated by the patch for the
code, in such a way I can upgrade the code patch being sure that the
test suite patch will remain untouched.
Granted by this, I can test each new code patch with the same test
suite unless I specifically and deliberately change the test suite
patch.
