Hi,
at a first glance it seems to me that with this patch also hidden files
(files starting with a dot) are valid names and I suspect this is not acceptable.
Maybe something like:
p = c = bb_basename(c);
while (*c && (isalnum(*c) || *c == '_' || *c == '-' || (*c =='.' && c != p)))
c++;
or
c = bb_basename(c);
if ( *c == '. ')
return *c:
Both untested.
