What's the easiest way to make Busybox keep correct time?

My experience so far is that when ntpd is run at startup it keeps the
hardware clock more or less synchronized. By which I mean, the hardware
appears to be behind the system clock by a little over 1 second, which
should be enough to get the system clock set at a reasonably close value on
the next reboot, until ntpd has a chance to start.
