If you add syslog.conf support to Busybox, let it be a configurable
option, please. All my Busybox setups rely on having no extra
configuration for syslogd in Busybox ... the simplicity is, why I prefer
that one over other syslogd packages (except on big server machines).
FYI: Handling off priority/facility in syslogd is always placed in local
message path by convention. I remember some of the discussions about
that topic, during phase of syslogd establishing (can't remember the
reason for that convention, but I know it had been taken after a heated
debate; IMHO it was due to different requirements on different
platforms/systems, forwarding all messages with unmodified
facility/priority was the solution that easily enabled to support all
requests).
