bb tar issues

Dear list,

I have created 2 archives of the same src on my dreamhost.com account.
When i try to tar zxvf with (BusyBox v1.16.0) on alpinelinux i get this msg:

tar: corrupted octal value in tar header

When i install GNU tar it works as expected.

Following files are created with tar (GNU tar) 1.16:
