Problem with date command in BB 1.15.0

[Mikhail Gusarov]

Twas brillig at 01:37:38 02.09.2009 UTC+02 when vda.linux at googlemail.com did gyre and gimble:

DV> This change was done intentionally.

DV> I was unable to google any other implementation of date which
DV> accepts such a peculiar date format: mmddHHMMyyyy (!).

Looks like it is dictated by SUSv3:
http://www.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/000095399/utilities/date.html#tag_04_33,
though I have no idea what kind of crack they did smoke while putting
such "elegant" date format to the spec.
