md5sum and diff patches

I have been told that because I did not
follow our just-told-to-me policy of getting
two different forms filled out (with five
different signing authorities) before submitting
patches to open source code, that my e-mails
can only be considered as requests for comments
on my changes, and not actual contributions.

Please discard (or comment on) my e-mails as you
see fit.  Sorry to have bothered you all.

(I do have some private opinions about all this.)
