yes, i think some entries are overcrowded. lines vanish outside the
screen, not nice. Even in the linux kernel interface they try to have no
pages larger than the main page.
therefor i made an attempt for an alternative layout, so we could start
a discussion but beside Bernhard (who disliked the "new" layout) no one was
interested. Consequently i stopped here.

In my last mail i wrote why (IMHO) we need a change. In short: oddly long lists
of applets are no help. People using a GUI do not expect the need to scroll (or search).
