Invalid options segfault?

 I saw some segfaults in busybox 1.11.3 cross compiled for
i586-linux-uclibc in buildroot both on my eeepc and qemu. They
surprised me a lot because I am not used to see any  segfault in
busybox. Not specifically with cat -c but randomly happens and in most
of the cases I lost the keyboard interaction in such a way I need to
shutdown the qemu/eeepc in hard way. I did not reported anywhere and I
still have no data to report it properly.

 Another nasty problem, which I did not understand properly and
probably is not related with busybox but uClibc, is documented here

 I did not modified any software apart patching the kernel in order to
use fb @ 800x480 with uvesafb and eeepc's asus_acpi but both problems
has been there just before these manipulations.
