udhcpc and Infiniband support

I noticed that the Infiniband driver is dropping the outgoing packets
from udhcpc:

# ifconfig ib0
ib0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-00-04-04-FE-80-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:2044 Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:18 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:128
          RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:0 (0.0 B)

If I statically define the IP address of ib0, communication works perfect.

I have tested with busybox 1.1.2 and 1.5.1.

Is udhcpc supported over Infiniband?

note: I have also tried assigning the client-id at the command line as
well as defined by the DHCP over IB RFC.

Thanks!
