Where is my help text?

After building and installing busybox on my target system, I'm not
seeing any help text for some reason:

# dpkg --help
BusyBox v1.6.0 (2007-06-09 19:32:54 CDT) multi-call binary

Usage: dpkg [-ilCPru] [-F option] package_name

#

Can anyone please tell me what I might be doing wrong in configuring
help text to work?
