I get sort. Just checked. What's your .config?

I just did all that:
landley at driftwood:~/busybox/busybox$ ./busybox sort -h
sort: invalid option -- h
BusyBox v1.2.0-pre0 (2006.05.30-20:25+0000) multi-call binary
Usage: sort [-nrugMcszbdfimSTokt] [-o outfile] [-k start[.offset][opts]
[,end[.offset][opts]] [-t char] [FILE]...
Sorts lines of text in the specified files

It's not reproducing here. What's your build environment?
