That's what 'svn move' suggests, but 'svn status' tells you a little
more... there should be a '+' next to the new file (indicating that
it comes with a history).

$ svn mv Makefile Mokefile
A         Mokefile
D         Makefile
$ svn status 
A  +   Mokefile
D      Makefile
