I'm trying to use ssh and sftp, but both complain that PRNG is not seeded. Fine - how do I seed the pseudo-random-number-generator or cause it to be seeded for me? And, what the best way to search the archives for any related material so as not to annoy the list if the info's been discussed to death already? Thanks. josef
