Hi,

I have one problem with udhcpc. When I disconnect the ethernet cable,
after the dhcp lease time udhcpc cannot get a new ip from the dhcp
server. This ok, but it seems that udhcpc exits and then busybox never
get a new ip.

I have this log in /var/log/messages

Sep 22 22:49:17 TR001 kern.debug udhcpc[80]: Sending renew...
Sep 22 22:49:24 TR001 kern.debug udhcpc[80]: Sending renew...
Sep 22 22:49:28 TR001 kern.debug udhcpc[80]: Sending renew...
Sep 22 22:49:30 TR001 kern.debug udhcpc[80]: Sending renew...
Sep 22 22:49:31 TR001 kern.info udhcpc[80]: Lease lost, entering init state
Sep 22 22:49:31 TR001 kern.debug udhcpc[80]: Sending discover...
Sep 22 22:49:33 TR001 kern.debug udhcpc[80]: Sending discover...
Sep 22 22:49:35 TR001 kern.debug udhcpc[80]: Sending discover...
Sep 22 22:49:39 TR001 kern.info udhcpc[80]: No lease, failing.

Can you tell me if it is possible to run udhcpc in persist mode?
Currently it is runned by ifup -a from the file /etc/init.d/S40network.

Regards,
