The actual message part seems to be missing, unless you have calls to ls and 
directory output in syslog, which would just be weird.

It might also be nice to know what version you were using, and what "trying to 
use" means in this case...

Normally we like bug reports of the "using vesion X, you did A and it 
responded with B, when what you expected was C" variety.  It gives us 
something to work with...
