Thanks, I've merged that into my copy, which I'll re-post before long.

Well, I posted it to this list last fall some time as an "FYI" and at
least Gumstix has merged it into their distro.

Now that Apple's "may be applicable" patent has expired (last month) I'll
repost it, and you might want to consider merging it.  I'll see about its
IETF status too; I got the impression there was a desire to wait for that
AppleTalk patent expired before finalizing the RFC, to avoid some debates.
