Even with the latest cvs it is not possible to write the time in utc
into the rtc

I set my system clock via dvb-card and my shutdown script contains a
command like this

hwclock --systohc --utc

With BB up to pre6 and the original hwclock this works as expected. With
pre8 and the cvs from today allways the local time (TZ=Berlin, UTC + 1h)
is stored.
