Ahha! That would certainly make it easier to configure over the wire as
I could copy that file from another partition on my CF Card on bootup.

I'm using the fpc pascal compiler for some software and it's RTL does not
support the TZ variable. I'm going to fix that tonight now I know what's
going on. I could also cat the /etc/TZ file to the TZ variable in my
/etc/profile and cover all the bases.

For those it may interest, I'm having great success with booting of a CF
card, setting up a ramdisk and un-mounting the card. I can then take it
out, put it in a windows laptop to re-configure some ini files stored
on a fat32 partition, pop it back in the slot and do a soft reload of the
files without having to re-boot.
Makes on-the-fly configuration by non linux savy techs very easy.

Oh, and while I'm here.
Gentlemen the new uClibc and busybox config systems are brilliant :p)

I guess to put that in laymans terms.. they ROCK!
