I just found out you had a busybox applet for brctl yourself, when I
read the latest mailing list entries. Wouldn't it be better to just update
yours for 2.4+ kernels, if such is necessary? Keep in mind I did the
simple hack to get brctl before anyone responded to my question of whether
this had already been done.

As per terms of the GPL I think I've complied, I took open source, then
added to it, then made my changes available. That doesn't mean I have to
make them perfect and efficient.

Also keep in mind the brctl.c is not mine at all, it is just a concatenation
of the bridge-utils files needed to make a standalone compilable program.

The program did what I needed of it, and added on the order of 11k bytes
to the size of busybox. My part is finished. If someone else wants to
clean it up, shrink it down, really make it fit within the philisophy of
busybox, they are perfectly free to. Viva open source!
