at ftp://ftp.simtreas.ru/pub/my/bb/ports/ there is a brctl aplet written 
by Vladimir Oleynik. But in head of the source code is a
comment, that it is only for 2.1.x kernels.

If you write a brctl applet for 2.4 kernels please note me (or post a 
note to the list), because I need it too, and I am not
so good in coding yet.
