[BusyBox] Building uname...

Hello,
So, basically, this would point to the compiler optimizing the code
improperly. Does anyone else use optimizations, and have a working
uname? What about other configuration items. For instance, I have
compiled uClibc to use PIC code, etc. Could that effect it also? I
wouldn't think so...but who knows. Stranger anomolies have happened.
Anyway, let me (us) know if you can successfully compile uname.o with
-Os, or some other optimization level. Please include your GCC version,
and all other relevant information. Hopefully we can track this down
easily.
One other thing. When did uname.o change last? I will check the
CVSWeb, and look at the differences. I know that it _did_ work at one
point, because I've used it in the past. Thanks in advance!
