[BusyBox] busybox syslogd -R targethost terminate on CRAMFS, what do I wron g?

Hello

On a embedded system (ppc) with CRAMFS I try to run busybox syslogd -R
10.0.0.1
but due CRAMFS is read-only syslog terminate with the message:

"syslogd: Could not connect to socket /dev/log: Operation not permitted"

Is it not possible to run busybox syslogd on CRAMFS?

Could you tell me what I do wrong.
