I decided that I wanted to use cardmgr for this, so I use it.
I've finally gotten myself to use uClibc and I do think I have
room for all you want in a 1.44M (I haven't tested since I have
prioritized PPP stuff.)
so yes, it's possible.
if you want to check out what I have it's the new development tree
for floppyfw 3.0 (aka 2.9 now).
