[BusyBox] init - newbie question

Dear all,

Thanks for all the hints for small distro's, but:
I would actually like to get the machine up from scratch, following the 
Bootdisk-Howto. To me it's a matter of "prestige".

I'll dig into the hint by Tim Riker to pass "init=/bin/sh" to the kernel.
The bootdisk contained only a kernel, I'll try using LILO to handle booting:)
