[BusyBox] TimeZone settings for date display

If anyone has used date and timezone setting on busybox, I would appreciate 
their reponse.

I can only set the american daylight savings zones - PST8PDT, MDT, CDT,EDT

even if I set timezone to be PST or EST, busybox does not display the date 
with the offset. It displays UTC time.

Is there a patch for this. ? What are the files needed to enable date to 
recognize all timezone libraries.
