Hello all

trying to get bb .50pre tinylogin .80 and kernel 2.4.2-3 onto some
floppies. 2.4.2 has a nasty loop device bug that required patching up
to -3 to make floppy images.

All's not well. kernel boots, but stops at 'Freeing unused kernel
memory' which preceedes the init startup.

My understanding is that there are a few options that control what is
run as init... either /linuxrc or /sbin/init or /bin/sh. Anyone have a
good explination exactly what bb is doing and what config items affect
it running init. The archive mentioned an issue with linuxrc in
applets.h is that resolved?

Any 'hidden' libs required that are not turned up by ldd? I have only 3
libs in /lib (ld-2.1.95.so libcrypt-2.1.95.so and libc-2.1.95) all from
ldd busybox and ldd tinylogin. these are to date the ONLY executibles in
the floppy.

My build machine is RH 6.2 patched up to support 2.4.2-3.

Thanks for any help
