Hello Erik, Can you look over the patch that I submitted. It contains "Circular buffer" code which uses shared memoery in it. If you want a patch w/o the "Circular buffer" which would include the syslogd cleanup and klogd as a separate module I can clean it up for you. So that maybe we can handle it in parts? G.F.
