Sounds like a good idea to me.

Just a side note... the bootimage Erik initially put up (I haven't checked if
it has changed lately) would _not_ work on my 486.  I suppose the kernel on it
was compiled for newer cpus.  Erik did mention that the kernel on it was just
what he had on his laptop.

Also, as one of my side projects, I've been trimming down devfsd and making sure
it works with uClibc.  I had talked a little with Erik about where it might fit
in wrt busybox.  After working with it, I think it probably best to keep it as
a seperate app.  But, I had the thought that it might be worthwhile to extract
the make-old-compatilbility-entries code and add it as a busybox applet.  That
would allow people the option of using devfs with busybox without changing
their scripts, etc.  while only adding a couple of k to the code size, rather
than including all of devfsd (with possibly unneeded functionality) at
somewhere between 20-30k.
