There are a number of tools and scripts which assume the presence of the GZip
-l argument to list the compressed file's contents, namely XArchiver and other
archivers which work with system-present archivers.

I reproduced the behavior on Alpine Linux Edge (v3.15.x) with Busybox v1.35.0
and XArchiver 0.5.4.17.
