date's usage help reports [[[[[YY]YY]MM]DD]hh]mm[.ss] support, even if
CONFIG_FEATURE_DATE_COMPAT has turned this into MMDDhhmmYYYY.ss support.
Seems like a bit of a dangerous feature to begin with imho...
