Switching from uClibc to glibc as the default in Buildroot?

We have now celebrated two years since the last uClibc release, which
happened on May, 15th 2012. My initial call to do a new release dates
back from September 2013.

Is the intention of the uClibc maintainers to simply let the project
die under its inactivity? If that's the goal, then I believe we're on
the right track.
