No, it isn't, it seems. Try:
$ make CC=gcc-mine
$ make CC=gcc-mine -C ldso
$ make CC=gcc-mine -C ldso
$ make CC=gcc-mine

Everything but the first invocation should say
"nothing to be done for all" or something like that. Doesn't do that for
me (see other mail i sent a few minutes ago).
