build error

   I've been trying to build an i386 rootfs, and it stops here:

make: *** No rule to make target `linux', needed by `pcmcia'.  Stop.

      Any fix for this? I downloaded a fresh install and turned off the
daily snapshot option for uclibc,but left everything else stock, except
for adding a few packages like xorg, hostap, wireless tools.
