'stagnant' implies something already existed but wasnt updated ;)

John Bowler is working on getting current svn head working ... uClibc-0.9.27 
def wont work while 0.9.28 has some initial support

there's a bug open on bugs.uclibc.org which is tracking this but i cant 
remember the # of the top of my head
