[uClibc] where are uclibc libraries installed?

Hi
I've installed a version of uclibc along with binuitls and C compiler. I can't seem to find the library files associated with uclibc such as ld * .so etc can't find any of the files *.so.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, maybe my paths are wrong, is there some step by step instructions as to how to install uclibc?
