I'm trying to use buildroot to build a small development system which
can self host itself.  But I'm getting tangled up with ncurses and it
looks like I need to hack on the ncurses makefile to do what I want.

I see at the top of the makefile a comment that says it "installs only
a few vital termcap entries."  I also see it does not build tic and
does some other things I don't understand yet.

Can anyone discuss the rationale of the ncurses makefile?  Or better
yet, suggest how to change it to build a self hosting environment?
