[uClibc] status of port to x86_64 (AMD64)

I saw a message in the archives from April 2003:
 http://www.uclibc.org/lists/uclibc/2003-April/006102.html

I will try to directly contact the author of the message. I just
thought I would try the list first, in case ownership of the port had
changed hands.

Out of curiosity, how much code in uClibc is specific to a particular
platform?

Thanks,
Travis
