[uClibc] Building NTP

Mike,

I think I am almost possibly there. It appears that ntpd has a
couple hard coded lib paths to /usr/lib. I changed them to point at
/the.staging_dir.for.buildroot/usr/lib. This took care of the missing
libelf; however, I am still missing libmd5. So, how is libmd5 related
to --without-crypto?

Stan

as long as you disable crypto and/or specify the crypto includes, it
should go without a hitch for the most part :) --without-crypto
otherwise the 'smart' crypto library scans /usr/include and such looking
for openssl

yeah, this has been fixed in current ntp-dev, but i guess there are no
plans to add it to ntp-stable ...
