None of this matters in the slightest anyway, because the difference of 
opinion is over pronounciation, rather than meaning.  You say tom-ay-to, 
I say tom-ah-to etc etc.

In projects as international as this, with contributors from as many 
countries and cultures, it is the absence rather than presence of such 
differences that should be surprising!
