I have to apologize for that statement. Its incorrect. Im sorry.
I have checked out puppy distro after I read about the anouncement here. A very nice piece of work.
But Thats using X. Im going to drop X. There is a Mesa project that ported mesa dri to fbdev and uses a glx subset. then there is also an opengl backend to cairo that will be used by gnustep. Its all about GNUstep.
