[uClibc] atomicity.h inconsistent operand constraints

I am getting the following error when trying to build uClibc from the latest snapshot:

gmon.c: In function `__mcount_internal':
../../../../include/bits/atomicity.h:51: error: inconsistent operand constraints in an `asm'

I suspected this was a gcc version issue but even after upgrading to gcc version 3.3.1 20030930 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.1-6) I still get the problem.

Anyone have any idea what to try next?
