Which version of uClibc?  As released, uClibc 0.9.18 has many of
the *uid handling system calls broken.  Could you try updating to
a current uClibc snapshot (everything is binary compatible
assuming you do not change the uClibc configuration, so you
shouldn't need to rebuild all your applications, just uClibc)
