[uClibc]uclibc and mysql under linux

hello people,

i am trying to get a LAMP (linux/apache/mysql/php) system going with uclibc.
i'm using a 2.4.19 kernel header with gcc-3.2 and uclibc-0.9.15. has anyone
here gotten mysql to compile under linux and uclibc ? if so, i would really
appreciate a how-to with version numbers of the utilities and base system.

i tried using the latest toolchain to do so but it continually bombs on the
configure. my next step is build a complete chroot'ed compile system from
scratch using the toolchain and LFS docs to see if this can be accomplished.
if someone has already done some of the heavy lifting, i would really be
thankful for any pointers or workarounds.
