Hello once again,

gcc --version returns:
"gcc (GCC) 3.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.0 3.2-1mdk)"

No surprises here, I'm running the Manreake 9.0 Distro, with all the latest
updates, and GCC-3.2 comes standard with Mandrake 9.0.

ar --version returns:
"GNU ar 2.12.90.0.15 20020717"

I would assume (possible incorrectly...lemme check on it) that this is the
latest version of binutils, as `ar` is part of the binutils package. Again,
I'll take a look for a newer version.

I am currently recompiling my uClibc snapshot (20021104) with "-march=i386
-mcpu=i386", and the menu option for "386" selected. However, I would like
to report that this error not only occours on the snapshot version that I
have, but also on the 0.9.15 stable version I compiled.

Okay, while typing this email, the compile finished. It compiled
successfully. Perhaps I should change the arch that is being used in the
Makefile/Rules.make file. Could this be the source of my problems?

Thanks again for all the help everyone. As I have spent my last 5 months
learning GTK+-2.0.x, I have had little time to dedicate the uClibc.
Hopefully this will change soon.
