Hehe.  It was simply that I could compile the library on mips,
and I could compile test/args/arg_test.c and it ran correctly.
That was a pretty big improvement over where things were in for
mips -- though I willingly admit that uClibc/mips isn't ready for
heavy lifting quite yet.

right.  And that will stay that way until someone can give ldso/mips 
some time and attention.

Hmm...   No real idea on those.  I'll probably won't have time to
bury in further mips work for a week or so, though I'm willing to
review and apply patchs.  I'm working in a few other areas at the
moment and don't want to slow those down,
