It already does (I did the port, and maintain it).
Perhaps you were confused because the support is called `v850', but that
name is used to refer to the v850 processor _family_; in reality only
v850e (and v850e2 etc) instruction-set architectures are supported
(so don't try using it on a real `v850' processor!)
