Hello all,

Just a message to thank you all for your great work.

I have played with `ash', trying to get this "standard" Bourne Shell with
the full functionnalities of the *BSD flavors, including historic.

I have recompiled the port of the libedit found at sourceforge.net against
uClibc. I have recompiled a version of ncurses against uClibc too, and
finally "port" the last version of NetBSD `sh' to compile against GNU libc
on Linux, and compile it against uClibc.

If have used some brute force, and I'm cleaning the whole. But this work,
and the result (can be optimised IMHO) is the following :

thierry at pc04:~/cvs/BSD/basesrc/bin/sh$ ls -al sh
-rwxr-xr-x 1 thierry thierry 287168 jun 6 11:21 sh

thierry at pc04:~/cvs/BSD/basesrc/bin/sh$ ldd sh
        statically linked (ELF)

Congratulations and thanks !
